Recipes For Low Carb Diets

We know that food for low carb diets can get boring. That's why we decided to scour the Internet to see if we could find some recipes for low carb diets to help you out. Maybe you've looked for yourself, but are tired of finding recipes for low carb diets that use funky ingredients you've never heard of. We looked for easy recipes with basic ingredients. We hope the ones we decided to post will help all of you with your low carb diets. This one is from Low Carb Friends:

Parmesan Crusted Chicken

1lb. boneless chicken cutlets, cut into 2"x6" strips

1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese

2 eggs, beaten (using 1 tablespoon of water instead of milk)

Enough oil for frying

1. Heat oil in fry pan on medium heat.

2. Dip each chicken strip into the beaten egg.

3. Coat each piece with Parmesan cheese.

4. Fry in hot oil until golden brown on one side (about 4-5 minutes). Turn and repeat with other side.

This one is from Low Carb Luxury:

Skillet Chicken Dijon

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

3 Tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

3 Tablespoons white wine or chicken broth

3 Tablespoons soy sauce

2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard

1. Heat oil in a skillet then add the minced garlic and cook, stirring often for about 3 minutes. Add the chicken breasts and saute until browned.

2. In a separate bowl, mix wine, soy sauce and mustard. Pour generously over the chicken.

3. Cover and cook until done. Spoon the sauce over the chicken when serving or pour extra sauce into small dipping dishes to serve.

Both of these recipes have less than two carbs per serving. We know these are only two recipes, but we hope they will help you with carb on your low carb diet.
