Low Carbohydrate Recipes

There are some great low carbohydrate recipes out there, even if you are really cutting a major amount of carbs. A lot of the best foods on the table are actually fine to eat while on a low carbohydrate diet. We know it can be very difficult to cut out many of the things that you are accustomed to eating, but the key to the success of these diets is to find a lot of low carbohydrate recipes that you enjoy eating. When you are actually enjoying the food you make from these, the diet itself is much easier to maintain and does not feel as though you are suffering quite as much as you think you should be.

Low carbohydrate recipes- side dish
Following is one of our favorite of all the low carbohydrate recipes that we have collected. It is also one of the simplest low carbohydrate recipes. It can be prepared in about 10 minutes and serves up to four people and is low carbohydrate. But, when we tried the recipe, it still felt like a bit of an indulgence (which is good)!

Ingredients:

1 bunch of asparagus
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
6 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons lemon juice

Steam the asparagus until i gets a bright green color. Do not over steam or the stalks will be too mushy and loose some of its flavor. Melt the butter with the lemon juice. Pour this mixture over the asparagus and sprinkle the parmesan cheese over asparagus.

You see, we have just proved that you do not have to suffer to be on a low carbohydrate diet. You just need to do a bit of research and spend some time looking for other great low carbohydrate recipes.
